We could have called this page “The Perfect Client” and it could have simply said, “If you are an engineer and own a company, and you treat your employees and customers well, but are disappointed with your marketing, you really should be talking to us.”
That’s the short version.
Here’s the backstory:
I’ve been working with engineers for decades. I was an engineering recruiter (the helpful kind) in Silicon Valley for five years before my husband and I started our high-tech ad agency years ago.
My husband was an engineer. We had a great life together before I lost my best friend to cancer in 2021.
I love all things technical, including mechanical engineering, electronics, electro-mechanical engineering, software, hardware… you get the picture.
Many of our team members share my love for tech.
We have writers who enjoy writing about tech.
Our managing editor spent years as an IT expert.
Our online ad pro loves nothing more than investigating new technologies that help us get as close as possible to tracking sales from their origin to the final purchase, and beyond (we also set up marketing nurturing/automation campaigns for our clients).
As a team, we excel at helping tech companies increase their revenue with deep and much-appreciated educational content that ends up on page one of search results—sometimes for years, with one article, but also with other articles that rise up to the top spot.
I’ve been writing and speaking about supporting the customer’s buying process before it was a “thing,” (check out my book on the topic—Roadmap to Revenue, How to Sell the Way Your Customer Wants to Buy or one of my podcasts on the topic).
We are logical, truthful, and straightforward. When you work with us everything will make sense. Many of our engineering company owners find themselves in their comfort zone working with us, which they find surprising because that hasn’t been the case when they’ve worked with marketers in the past.
And because I spent decades as a revenue coach, performing marketing and sales turnarounds for companies of all sizes, you’ll get more than what most digital agencies can offer. Many of them are founded by someone who started out as a copywriter or graphic designer or SEO specialist, so they don’t have that depth of knowledge about how customers buy and how companies grow.
What We Will Do For You
The first thing I will do before we start the actual digital marketing is personally interview a select group of your customers (audio-only Zoom), asking open-ended questions about why they bought from you, what their experiences have been, what their buying process was, what they wish you might have done better or could do in the future, and more.
The resulting Conversation Report (transcribed and anonymized) and Summary and Recommendations Report allows us to “reverse-engineer” your successful sales so we can produce new sales for you in quantity.
Our number-one goal is to bring highly qualified leads into your business, and help in any way you need to then close those sales.
We respect your experience and wisdom about your industry and tech, and will partner with you to grow your business, combining what you do best with what we do best.
If this sounds good to you, the next step is a conversation between you and me, which you can schedule here. I look forward to our discussion.
