Kristin Zhivago is the founder and president of Zhivago Partners, a digital marketing agency that serves clients in various industries. At the heart of her agency is a core infrastructure team that supports various digital marketing experts.

Kristin’s career began in the tech industry. She began selling machine-shop tools when she was 17. That job taught her some hard lessons, which caused her to vow to learn everything she could about selling and technology. 

In the early days of tech, she and her husband, Philip, founded an agency serving tech clients in Silicon Valley. During the next twelve years, they helped launch many of the groundbreaking technologies we can’t imagine living without today. 

By 1991 it was obvious that companies would be doing more and more of their marketing in-house due to the popularity of the Mac. Kristin realized it was time for a change and encouraged her husband, the agency’s talented graphic artist, to retire. Philip spent the rest of his life happily pursuing his love for designing and building a wide variety of functional, artistic objects. 

Kristin reinvented herself. She called herself a “revenue coach,” and spent the next few decades on a mission to help CEOs and entrepreneurs sell the way their customers wanted to buy. 

Kristin’s journey included conducting numerous sales and marketing turnarounds. She worked with hundreds of companies in all industries, and interviewed thousands of customers for those companies, to gain a real-world understanding of those customers’ needs. . 

In 2011 she launched her 5-star book, Roadmap to Revenue: How to Sell the Way Your Customers Want to Buy, which Forbes later chose as one of the top sales and marketing books. Kristin was one of the early pioneers who started teaching that the key to increasing revenue was in supporting the buyer’s journey.

In 2017, Kristin recognized that many established companies selling great products and services were struggling with their digital marketing. She founded Zhivago Partners to help these companies compete effectively and increase revenue in today’s ever-evolving markets. 

Zhivago Partners consists of a well-organized team of digital marketing professionals. The company offers a full range of digital marketing services, including website development, search engine optimization, online advertising, email marketing, content marketing, social marketing, and marketing automation. The agency often serves as an outsourced marketing department for its clients.
