The cost— and what you will receive:

A Reality Checks costs $2000—and the value you receive is immeasurable. This customer behavior analysis reveals exactly what your customers are thinking and how to market to them successfully.

The price is all-inclusive and includes:

  • A Conversation Report so you can see exactly what your customers said in the interviews.
  • A comprehensive Summary and Recommendations Report developed exclusively by revenue coach Kristin Zhivago. Recommendations reveal the best messages for your product or service; where these messages will do you the most good; campaign methods and channels; and ways that your site can make it easier for them to buy.
  • An in-depth customer experience strategy consulting meeting with revenue coach Kristin Zhivago, to discuss the findings, themes, and best next steps to increase your revenue, whether you use us to help or another resource.

By the way, AI is amazing; we use it every day. But AI can’t give you this information. It can only tell you what others have done and help with surveys that turn your own assumptions into questions. A knowledgeable, experienced interviewer ask open-ended questions is the only way to find out what your customers were thinking when they set out to buy. This information is very specific to your company, your products, and your services.

During the Reality Check, we find out what they love about your company, which gives us the ability to build your campaign messaging on the promises that you keep—the exact promises that your prospects want you to keep.

How the process works:

  • We agree on the “categories” of customers we want to interview—representing the most desired and happiest customers you have sold to and want to sell to.
  • We provide you with a shared spreadsheet where you can list those customers with their name, title, phone number, email address, and any notes that might be helpful for me to know before I talk with them.
  • I compose an email for you to send to the customers I hope to interview. The email introduces me, saying that I will be calling to find areas we could improve, and we hope to have a 30-minute conversation. Then my assistant follows up and make the actual appointments.
  • I interview your customers via Zoom audio (we will tell that is what we do; I have found that video complicates things and makes them a little less forthcoming).
  • We have the conversations transcribed. The transcript is copied into the Conversation Report, organized by the answers to the questions. This makes it anonymous. – I say up front that I have to record (“because I can’t type as fast as you can talk”), but that we break their answers into categories, making it anonymous. This also helps them open up.
  • We send you the Conversation Report as soon as it is finished, and while you are absorbing that, I create a Summary and Recommendations Report.
  • We then set up a meeting to discuss it.
  • We establish your main brand promise in that meeting, and all the ways we can start bringing in new, desirable prospects into your business.

This process takes a few weeks . . . and will get all of your marketing on a revenue-growth path.

Kristin and her team have helped solidify my belief that marketing doesn’t have to be hokey, fake, or any of those other things that people associate with marketing—in other words, a fictitious narrative about some product that is going to solve all of your ills. It doesn’t have to be that way. We can talk about the product truthfully, in earnest, and have a genuine conversation about it while advancing the company to generate more sales. Kristin and her team are really, really good at that.

I enjoy working with Kristin and our project manager, and the entire team. A pleasant surprise for me is the continual promptness in terms of problem resolution. If we have an issue, I’m continuously impressed with the staff from a technical perspective, and on a personal level, their level of care and involvement. They’re open and available, and always there for us. That’s refreshing and much appreciated.

It seems that most people you work with try to fit you into some kind of template they’ve created, which includes things that you don’t even need. Kristin doesn’t do that. She spends personal time with the owner and figures out where they’re at, and gently coaches them. She prioritizes what you need to do. If you have a cash flow issue, they work on short-term methods that bring in more leads. If you’re on life support, you don’t need to be working on how you’re going to lose 50 pounds this year. You need blood. That’s what she did with me. We did the most significant things first.

I would describe Zhivago Partners as a collection of well-qualified people who go out of their way to help you achieve your goals.

“I needed help with sales and marketing, the language I was using, working on the website and providing the right information to people. I also needed to work on systems to help me capture and categorize leads, and follow up. Follow-up is an invisible problem. Most salespeople don’t follow up. I developed a system where I could be a resource. Not everybody is going to buy from you on your timeline, but if you just help them, they will eventually.”
